“Coming 2 America” Movie Premiere – How your favourite Nigerian celebrities stepped out in style.

The theme for the premiere was 'African Royalty' and it was really exciting to see celebrities turn up in their most glamorous African themed outfits.

The long-anticipated sequel to Eddie Murphy’s all-time classic, ‘Coming 2 America‘ premiered in Nigeria on the 5th of March, 2021, and your favourite Nigerian celebrities stepped out in style for the event.

The theme for the premiere was “African Royalty”, and it was exciting to see celebrities turn up in their most glamorous African-themed outfits. Here are some of my all-time favourites.

Nigerian celebrities stepped out in style

  • Beverly Naya:
She stuck to her own fashion style and definitely gave off effortless elegance. Her look was simple, yet, she was able to make such a statement with her headpiece, accessories, and those shoes! Definitely a hit for me.

  • Kim Oprah:
Is it just me, or do ex-BBN housemates bring the heat to any red carpet event? Kim looked absolutely stunning in this Ankara dress with the red headpiece. The overall effect was giving off Queen of Zamunda vibes.

  • Prince Nelson Enwerem:
I believe this is what African Royalty is supposed to look like! Prince takes the award for Best Dressed Male at the premiere, he really went all out with his Kente outfit, and the accessories and staff really brought the whole look together. Ex-BBN housemates for the win!

  • Wofaifada:
I really like Wofai’s outfit as well. She brought some Yoruba flavour into the mix with her two-piece patterned dress and that gorgeous green headgear. She deserves a thumbs up!

  • Mercy Eke:
It will be quite impossible to curate a list of Best Dressed celebrities at the premiere without special recognition of Mercy Eke’s drip. She really put a lot of thought and effort into her outfit. The detailing on that dress is top-notch, and not anybody could have pulled off that dress the way she did. All hail the Queen!
