Nigerian Skin Care Bloggers to follow in 2021

Remember when the only skincare routine you had was simply making sure you washed your face before bed? We all used ‘Dettol’ to bathe and wash our faces. The truly bougie ones used products like; ‘Irish Spring’ or ‘Dove’, and after washing, we would dry our faces vigorously with a towel and tumble right into bed after. Honestly, those memories make me cringe, and it’s surprising that our skin survived those tumultuous times.

The skin care industry in Nigeria has really grown and advanced in recent times. There are lots of products, procedures, and opinions out there. It could get a little confusing with all the noise on skincare routines and whatnots. Skincare, unlike cosmetics, is unique to each person – what works for A might not work for B. You can’t afford to model your skincare after someone else’s as your skin type could be different, and skin composition matters.

I am not a skincare consultant myself, but what I do know is that there are people who are professionally trained for this, and they can guide you on your skincare journey. I have curated a list of 5 professional Nigerian skincare bloggers/consultants. They provide consultancy and also share free tips on their platforms to get you from where you are to where you want to be.
