Our creative team is looking for a talented candidate to join us as a Web Developer.
A Web Developer is a professional who handles the design, construction, maintenance and improvement of websites, while providing solutions to all website-related topics and projects. You will ensure that sites meet user expectations by ensuring they look good, run smoothly and offer easy access points with no loading issues between pages or error messages. You will monitor website traffic, troubleshoot website problems when they arise, and update the website as necessary, while ensuring that the company’s brand identity remains intact.
Job Responsibilities

Manage the Talku Talku website and provide back-end functionality that can run smoothly from any device or browser type commonly used today.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows web standards and best practices.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and site maps that communicate design ideas and user flows.

Test website features and functionality to ensure optimal user experience.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance website features and functionality.

Optimize websites for performance, speed, and scalability.

Troubleshoot and debug website issues as they arise.

Perform website maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and security checks.

Communicate technical concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Collaborate with the solutions consulting team to understand client needs and translate them into effective website designs that reflect their brand identity.

Review marketing copy and conduct research on relevant industry-related topics to drive website traffic.

Prioritize website development projects, set timelines, and assign tasks to team members.

Meet with clients to review template designs, refine the final product, and communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Work collaboratively with internal teams, including designers, marketers, and solutions consultants, to identify system requirements and ensure UI/UX on web pages are intuitive and engaging.

Create technical documentation for user support and follow security principles.

Be a positive online and offline brand ambassador for Talku Talku and drive awareness for the company.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

At least 2 years of experience in building dynamic websites using WordPress, Elementor and Crocoblock plugins with a portfolio of successful projects.

Strong knowledge of HTML & CSS.

Knowledge of JavaScript and PHP is a plus.

Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools such as Figma or Adobe XD is a plus.

Knowledge of server administration and web hosting, including experience with cPanel, Plesk, or other web hosting control panels.

Experience with website analytics and tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or other similar tools.

Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
