Job Overview

Our creative team is looking for a talented candidate to join us as a Creative Content Writer.

A Creative Content Writer regularly sources for, and creates contents for our social platforms, evaluates analytics to adjust content as needed, and promotes Talku Talku by pitching articles to various third-party platforms/collaborators. To be successful in this role, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques and be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content. You will write original copies & scripts, and edit/publish articles, while maintaining brand consistency across online channels. Ultimately, a top-performing Creative Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase audience engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to plan and develop original content for articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.

  • Prepare well-organized drafts and proofread content for errors and inconsistencies before publishing.

  • Assist the marketing team in developing scripts, content & copies for campaigns, email marketing and projects.

  • Create contents in diverse digital media formats (articles, graphics, explainer videos, whiteboards, live videos, podcasts), given the content production needs.

  • Edit and polish existing content to improve readability.

  • Optimize content performance according to best-in-class SEO standards, principles and keywords to increase website traffic.

  • Identify consumer needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company's current content.

  • Manage in-house content planner and other administrative duties.

  • Manage content from ideation to performance tracking and reporting.

  • Interview relevant creatives, where necessary.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and practices.

  • Collaborate with other departments to clarify articles & scripts, establish campaign objectives, complete projects, identify and solve problems.

  • Review all contents before they are published or submitted to clients.

  • Create and oversee reports on content (e.g. weekly or monthly).

  • Monitor metrics related to our content, like web traffic and conversion rates.

  • Readily offer valuable insights and grasp project requirements quickly.

  • Actively promote TT contents on social media and be a brand ambassador.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.

  • Proven content writing, scriptwriting and copywriting experience.

  • Working knowledge of content management systems.

  • A portfolio of published articles.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects concurrently.

  • Effective communication skills and data-driven thinking.

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.

  • Thorough knowledge of the field of expertise and willingness to keep abreast of advancements and trends.

  • Drive and determination to learn new things continually

  • A great listener with the ability to communicate with people of diverse disciplines.
