His daughter, Yeni Kuti, and last son, Seun Kuti also paid tribute on social media.
4. Burna Boy Becomes First African Artiste To Sell Out State Farm Arena In Atlanta
Barely a month after making Barack Obama’s 2022 summer playlist, Burna Boy has achieved another feat in his musical career. On August 1st, 2022, the one-time Grammy award winner makes history as the first African artiste to sell out State Farm Arena in Atlanta. He took to Twitter to confirm this feat. At the start of the year, Burna Boy had sold out the famous Madison Square Garden at 20,000 capacity and the 19,000-capacity Toyota Center in America.
5. Veteran Nollywood Actress Ngozi Nwosu Requests For Fans Prayers As She Celebrates 59th Birthday
On August 1st, 2022, veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu requested that her fans and family pray for her as she celebrates her 59th birthday anniversary. She took to Instagram to share cute pictures and videos of herself with the caption, “Just say a prayer for me. Pray for me now! Loads of love.” The actress is famous for mastering the Yoruba and Igbo language in acting. And also her role as “Mama Peace” in the Television series Fuji House of Commotion.
6. FunTimes Magazine Essay Writing Competition Is On-going
